Default Virulence bugged?

I was trying a bleed + virulence combo on my warrior today and I noticed this when i was fighting a melee mob:

I would sever artery of one creature and throw virulence on it right afterwards to load it up with conditions, but then I would switch to an adjacent target and find that somehow virulence was placed on it as well. This property is not in the skill description. I tried this with several different types of mobs, likes drakes and white mantle warriors.

Anyone else come across this?

DOH. I can't believe I've never known that disease does that. I definately feel stupid now.

LOL, don't worry Stu. I asked the same question on my guilds forum when I first tried the Virulence Warrior setup. I was confused as sometimes I would get the disease on myself and sometimes I wouldn't. It wasn't a problem as I just used Plague Touch to give it back to the enemy.

Yeah my Necro/Warrior used Virulence and I never had a Disease problem until lately. That's why I usually take some steps back so I don't catch it once I hit them with Hamstring/Bleeding/Gash =p

Immolate + Virulence [E] should work well on a E/N spamming it on everyone with the high amount of energy.

The reason I put SHOULD is because I've yet to try ^^.
